Since it was formed many years ago, the Amador County Cancer Transportation Program (ACCTP) has helped hundreds of Amador County residents travel safely to their out-of-town radiation treatments. This service is now provided by the Amador STARS. We are pleased to offer this valuable program as part of our goal to provide Amador County residents with information on cancer services available at both the local and regional levels. STARS also offers transportation to chemotherapy treatments, and a wheelchair accessible van.

In May 2008, the Amador STARS received a donation of $525.57 to be used for Transportation from the local chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. The donation was presented by Judy Jackson to Ginger Rolf, Director of the Amador STARS. The funds were raised by the volunteers at their annual Christmas Gift Wrapping event held locally.
