Camp Out for Cancer is an inspiring community event presented by the Amador STARS. Teams build a "tent city" and take turns hiking for 21 hours to raise funds and awareness for local cancer patients, survivors, and their families. The event brings together people of all ages for fun, fellowship, food and entertainment by local musicians. Honor those who have battled cancer at our Survivor Celebration. Dedicate an illumination candle to someone who has been touched by cancer. Join a team and spread a message of hope...that together, we can eliminate cancer!

The 2010 Camp Out for Cancer is moving to the Plymouth Fairgrounds! The theme will be Ropin' and Ridin' for the Cancer Cure, so start planning your Western decorations. The event dates are September 11-12, 2010. The next committee meeting will be at the STARS office on May 4 at 5:30pm. The next captain's meeting is May 6th 6:15pm - 7:30pm (please don't arrive before 6:05pm as the room is being used before us). Mark your calendars now!
