I personally want to thank each team member for their time and dedication.
Working together we made a big difference -- coming together to show
support for each and every cancer patient and their family, and to
remember those we lost to the disease.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so generous to our cancer patients and their families. Your support is the greatest and they feel it.
Thanks to the committee who began planning for this event on the first day of the last year's event, and met regularly since April. Thanks to those who went up to the site and cleaned the mildew out of buildings, the weed eaters, the curb trimmers (so you could put your quarters on the edge of the curb), those who filled in the holes on the track, who trimmed the grass everywhere they could, who figured out the proper placement of outhouses, stages, fun zone, food zone, who built steps into a a hillside and added a railing with lights, who moved piles of dirt that were in the way, who hauled supplies all over the place, who loaded and transported the shade coverings, the chairs, the tables, the banners, the supplies, those who planned the meals, who took care of your registrations and donations, who planned the balloons and decorations, who answered the S.O.S.'s throughout the event - we say a huge thanks.
