One of the most touching parts of Camp Out for Cancer is the sight of thousands and thousands of illumination candles lining the track and the stadium. Each candle honors someone who has been touched by cancer or has lost their battle with cancer. Each bag bears a name and optional sentiment, and the candles are lit and the names read just after dark. Every year, between 2000 and 3000 luminaries line the track, making for a beautiful and inspirational ceremony.
